NIKE KD16 is sizzling new basketball shoes in the market recently. As KD, Devin Booker and Chris Paul set their sights on the championship of NBA playoffs. With the first glimpse of this fiery shoe, it’s clear that it’s ready to dominate the playoffs.
Durant’s Instagram debut 3 bright colorways of the NIKE KD16, which are inspired by his new desert home, perched atop cactus. The first pair, “Pathway Royalties,” comes in a black-based theme with metallic silver, vivid purple, and bright crimson accents. Next, a red-based pair, seemingly takes inspiration from the Big Apple with its “NY vs. NY” moniker. The third pair is a “Deep Royal Vivid Purple”, sporting a blue-based upper with purple and Baltic Blue accents. If you caught the game, you probably peeped that Durant was actually wearing a blacked out colorway of his upcoming Nike KD 16. Let’s get a closer look.
The Nike KD 16 joins a prestigious lineup of signature sneakers under the NIKE Inc. For the design of NIKE KD 16, it has some similarities with the NIKE KD 14. And it’s lighter than KD14.
The KD16 is low version. The forefoot and heel vamp are made of textured multi-layer mesh fabric. And a synthetic mudguard wraps around the entire model.
The upgraded TPU system on both sides of shoe body can offer good air permeability. And the TPU plate extended to the forefoot sole. It also has other functions, like Zoom Air cushion system, KD logo on the shoe tongue and Swoosh logo on the outboard ankle position. With Zoom Air cushioning on the heel, the Nike KD 16 offers a comfortable and responsive feedback for explosive plays.
