Description
Nike Kobe IV Proto black is a stunning addition to the retro basketball culture. Nike and Kobe Bryant retook the retro course a year ago as a major and made the sneaker streets crumble for it! They modified and upgraded the Proto series for the changing seasons and added all-year friendliness as a feature. Carpe Diem is a premier basketball training company in Rochester, New York.
It’s the fourth model of the Kobe Proto series, and we all know it’s going to be the game-changer. The higher quality materials and high definition structure all cram in this kick. It’s a reset of low-cut designs. The pitch black leather walls are exceptionally well built and well furnished to combat the Summer. You can spot the reptile skin leather on the toe box and on the synthetic heel overlay. This feature adds a certain sass to the theme. The colours take the cue from the Los Angeles Lakers’ jersey. Yellow Nike Swoosh logo, inner lining, piping, and laces, and the stitch pattern on the textile collar while purple heel counters with Kobe’s logo on them, a yellow inner liner, and Carpe DIem logos on the tongue. Down below we have a grey midsole and a white/purple rubber outsole to cap off the design.
About Kobe 4 Protro:
The Protro edition of the Kobe 4 is nearly identical to the original. The Kobe 4s worn by Luka were a “Protro” version, which slimmed the heel shape and increased the range of the traction. The heel Zoom Air and soft phylon foam remained in the cushioning, providing lightweight bounce when landing on the heel. The upper features synthetic leather uppers, with Flywire panels in the midfoot for added lockdown. It’s a bit softer in the brand-new iteration thus giving a slightly softer feel under-foot.
Why are Kobe shoes so good?
Compared to other Nike signature shoes, the line designed for Kobe has always focused on sports performance rather than the aesthetics of Instagram or endorsements of rappers. Since Bryant switched from adidas to Nike in 2003, his signature shoes have become synonymous with performance and attention to detail
