]]>the upcoming release will nod to the original “Infrared” colorway while introducing “Iron Grey” for a contemporary twist, said to be inspired by the Air Jordan 7 “Charcoal” — most commonly known as the “Raptor” colorway.
Second to the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 6 is still to this day one of the most popular silhouettes within the line-up.
Originally released in 1991 and it soon followed MJ into his first NBA Championship, the Air Jordan 6 was designed by Tinker Hatfield. They feature a visible Air unit in the heel as well as a translucent outsole, a molded back heel tab and set of lace locks.
The history behind the Air Jordan 6 is the reason why I love it so much. To me, the shoe will always be iconic as it was worn by Michael Jordan himself en route to his first NBA title.
Comfort:
The Air Jordan 6 may be one of the more uncomfortable retros in the Air Jordan line, I’ve always found them to be very firm underfoot, but the biggest pro of the silhouette is that they’re wide-foot friendly — something that I appreciate.
Fit:
Sizing wise, they fit relatively true to size. Some will get away with going half a size down because the sneaker has a roomy toe box.
Care:
Depending on the materials of the shoe, I care for my Air Jordan 6 sneakers the same way I would care for any other shoe. For suede or nubuck uppers, I use suede brushes and scrub the midsoles and outsoles with a standard shoe cleaning product.

]]>The 312 is a tribute to Chicago that’s equally inspired by MJ and today’s multi-faceted youth. Its name references the 312 area code of the city, as well as the shoe’s juxtaposition of the Air Jordan 1 and 3. “I wanted the Jordan Legacy 312 to have the sole of the Jordan 3, because to me, that shoe is the foundation of the brand”, Don explains. “The 1s and the 2s were Nikes first. The 3s were Jordans. That’s when the brand became the brand. I’ve always felt that the foundation of the brand is the 3, but it was built on the 1 first”.

]]>First hitting stores in 1995, the Air Max 95 “Neon” was the debut colorway for the multi-layered, anatomically inspired design from Christian Tresser. A bonafide masterpiece, the silhouette is still — 25 years later — one of Nike’s biggest-selling Air Max models, and it’s easy to see why. The design’s layering enables the sneaker countless color blocking opportunities, of which, Nike has explored thoroughly throughout the past 2 and a half decades. Now, after the OG-inspired Air Jordan 4, the original Air Max 95 returns as part of Nike’s end of year lineup.

]]>On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the Jordan 5, 7.5 in terms of comfort. The Jordan 5 silhouette may be heavy, but they’re extremely soft inside, and the tongue is thick and cushiony. For this reason, I would recommend them for those long days when you’re constantly on your feet.
How do you care for Air Jordan 5s?
The Air Jordan 5 is made from nubuck leather; to keep them clean, I spray them with a sneaker protector before wearing them outside. After wearing them, I remove any dirt using a nubuck brush and return them to their original box, mainly so they don’t get dusty.

Compared to other Nike signature shoes, the line designed for Kobe has always focused on sports performance rather than the aesthetics of Instagram or endorsements of rappers. Since Bryant switched from adidas to Nike in 2003, his signature shoes have become synonymous with performance and attention to detail
