Jordan Brand is finishing off 2014 strong thanks to the fragment design x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.

With his Fragment Design imprint, Hiroshi Fujiwara set the gold standard in streetwear. The shoe will be the first of silhouette hit with the Remastered tooling, which means factory processing gets an added attention to detail to ensure a quality product, something that Hiroshi Fujiwara and fragment design are accustomed to.

A new take on the classic ‘Black Toe’ edition, this pair features royal blue accents in place of red. Original ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue tag and insoles along with an engraved fragment design logo on the heels completes the look.

Even better, since the release comes in the form of the Retro High OG version of the silhouette, the collaborative release mimics the shape and aesthetic cues that made the first Jordan 1s such a timeless classic.

Product history. The first Air Jordan was produced for use by Michael Jordan. They were designed by Peter B. Moore, and released during Jordan’s sophomore season with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 1 Royal was never worn by Michael Jordan on an NBA court.

Why are Air Jordan 1 so good?

Who is the founder of Jordan 1?
