Designed by the hands of the great Tinker Hatfield, the classic silhouette is receiving a follow up to its recent All-Star Weekend focused drops, and opts to dress in matching tones symbolic of Chapel Hill’s University of North Carolina.

The institution that Michael Jordan attended for his collegiate career is being translated through Tar Heel tones as the arrangement involves a blend of white leathers. Uppers are constructed of tumbled white leather that features iconic elephant print on toebox and heel alike. The most noticeable touch arrives on the tongue, which features a powder blue embroidered Jumpman ringed by obsidian thread.

Red is thrown into the mix by way of a fabric badge on the inside of each tongue and a tag on the insoles that’s usually found on Jordan Brand athletic apparel. Powder blue and white midsoles sit above grey outsoles to complete this detailed nod to Michael Jordan‘s alma mater.

Down below, the midsole rear pieces carry the same complementary blue which further expands its ability to evoke memories of #23’s game-winning jumper during the 1982 NCAA championship.

Jordan Brand has, over the years, paid homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina (UNC). The past iterations of the Air Jordans, such as 1, 3, 4, 6, and 9, have featured UNC’s signature University Blue

Is Jordan 3 retro?

The Air Jordan III, which has been re-released as the Jordan Retro 3 regularly since 1994, introduced a new mid-cut silhouette, the unprecedented look of elephant print, and a brilliant young designer to the world of basketball shoes.

The majority of Jordan 3s are built from leather. The quality varies by release; the uppers on some colorways are usually pliable but others can be stiff. Some 3s will utilize suede or nubuck. Softer leathers and suedes should require less break in time. Over time, the upper on most sneakers will conform to the wearer’s foot shape a bit, becoming a much better and more comfortable fit.

One could play basketball in an Air Jordan 3, however it is inadvisable when compared to more advanced modern basketball sneakers available. Today’s tech surpasses that of the 80s and 90s with respect to sports performance.

I would put the Air Jordan 3 strictly in the casual category. While one could theoretically hoop in some retro Js, this is nowhere near ideal. I find walking in the Air Jordan 3 is ok, as long as you don’t overdo it. A few miles at a time is fine though.

about Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange or return it for a refund within 30 days from shipping from our warehouse

For any further question, please feel free to contact Solesnk.com customers service.

Email : sale@geriderklostertaler.at

Designed by the hands of the great Tinker Hatfield, the classic silhouette is receiving a follow up to its recent All-Star Weekend focused drops, and opts to dress in matching tones symbolic of Chapel Hill’s University of North Carolina.
