As it has done for the better part of this Century, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has shown itself to be far more exploratory than its High and Low top counterparts. Typically used as a testing ground for future marquee releases, the Mid often pops up in unique materials and atypical color blocking, amongst much more. It\u2019s next, the Air Jordan 1 Mid \u201cPurple Chenille\u201d shows a hint of that, with the seldom-seen cut-in Swoosh combo that\u2019s more recently been associated with the Zoom CMFT series.<\/p>\n
Chicago is the blocking the go for this purple-tinted release, with light lilac leather uppers, textured lavender overlays, and deep purple chenille at the aforementioned Swoosh and collar. Other details include Jordan-branded tongues and the signature Air Jordan Wings logos on the lateral side. Wrapping up the silhouette are violet-colored and aged soles.<\/p>\n
Product history. The first Air Jordan was produced for use by\u00a0Michael Jordan<\/b>. They were designed by Peter B. Moore, and released during Jordan’s sophomore season with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 1 Royal was never worn by Michael Jordan on an NBA court.<\/p>\n
