The Hoyas\u2019 rich blue and grey tones aren\u2019t new to the NIKE, Inc. family of brands, having appeared on the Nike Dunk High\u2018s inaugural collection in 1985. Since then, the two-color arrangement has appeared on other popular silhouettes, including the Air Jordan 11 Low.<\/p>\n
The upper comes constructed in a grey leather base with hues of navy on the toe box, eyelets, overlays, and heel. Summit white appears on the tongue along with the signature Air Jordan Wings logo in white on the lateral ankle. For the finishing touches, the pair rests atop a white and navy rubber sole unit.<\/p>\n
As was the case on the original first Air Jordan, sizing information is stamped directly on the inner collar instead of on a tag. Together, evert component helps strike the perfect balance between heritage and future ambitions.<\/p>\n
Product history. The first Air Jordan was produced for use by\u00a0Michael Jordan<\/b>. They were designed by Peter B. Moore, and released during Jordan’s sophomore season with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 1 Royal was never worn by Michael Jordan on an NBA court.<\/p>\n
