As moodboard culture continues to infiltrate the sneaker scene, Youth of Paris are continuing to capitalise on the movement with their second adidas colab. Like JJJJound, Youth of Paris was born as a Tumblr blog, before founder Alex Lopez turned it into a webzine and then a fully-fledged brand. The original Tumblr account is still active.

The duo dropped their first joint project back in spring 2023, which consisted of two colourways of the Campus 80s. This time, the brands opt for more of a chunky, early-aughts look, delivering a Campus 00s and an Adimatic Mid. Channelling some serious skater vibes, both pairs come in ‘Carbon’ and ‘Core Black’ colourways in line with Youth of Paris’s gritty aesthetic.

The Campus 00s flaunts a sleek Carbon, Solar Green, and Core Black palette. Its Black suede base, adorned with Grey laces, exudes luxury. These arrive in the form of a Youth of Paris wordmark by the Stripes, and Trefoil-branded heel and tongue tabs. Said stripes and tongue tabs arrive in cracked black leather. The pairs come packaged in special-edition boxes and look to come with a lanyard accessory and multiple lace options.

About Campus 00s

At first dubbed “The Tournament” by the brand, it broke free of the basketball court and was rebranded as the Campus. From there, it was adopted by style-conscious B-boys, eventually becoming a defining shoe of the hip-hop scene in the 2000s,
