It’s part of a collection which celebrates Kobe’s extensive career, paying homage to some of the main highlights. This design pulls inspiration from the legend’s unrelenting ambition to success on the hardwood. The release was a huge upgrade from the Kobe 7 that allowed sneakerheads to enjoy the wear on and off the court.

This pair stays true to the original with a mesh knitted upper. It gives that lightweight comfort and looks especially good in a dark raisin colourway. The addition of a burnished leather tongue gives a luxurious element to an otherwise sporty sneak. Additional features include no-sew overlays to the heel and toe surround offering that all important support. A full-length Lunarlon midsole gives some responsive cushioning and a 3-D heel counter offers that lockdown feeling. To complete the look, branding remains subtle to the sidewall and tongue.
