Ever since Kobe’s death, his line of Nike signatures have been in indefinite limbo as the brand struggled to figure out how best to handle forthcoming product. While they once had many on the way for both this season and the next, the releases seemed all but scrapped — and for good reason. However, now months after, Beaverton seems to be be more than ready to honor the Black Mamba’s legacy via a few familiar takes of the new Kobe 5 Protro. Among an alternate black and white version, the “Bruce Lee” colorway is finally making its return with nearly every one of its original details.

Firstly, this Black Orange silhouette pays double homage, to honour Kobe’s love for martial arts. Initially dropped in 2010, this Nike Kobe 5 Protro sports the iconic Black and Yellow upper paying homage to the one-piece jumpsuit that Lee wore in “Game of Death,” while the Red scratch marks on the lateral side nod to the final fight scene from “Enter the Dragon.”. No other colour combination fits better on a pair of Kobe 5 Protro’s! Cause this runner illustrates everything Byrant loves perfectly!

Shiny, pitch-black material draped around the entire upper, allowing the vibrance of the orange overlays take away the spotlight! Besides, laces flaunt a fiery look that can light the tracks on fire! Similarly, the toe box, side panels, and heels also come done in orange. The rest of the runner gives off a dark black aesthetic. Nike’s signature Swoosh logo hits the sidewalls, and Kobe’s signature sheath logo appears on the tongues, in metallic silver. Also, subtle tints of red also hit the heels, forefoot, and Kobe’s autograph printed onto the heels.

Finally, a streamlined and cushioned midsole underneath. It gives you comfort like never before as you take every step wearing these boots!"" "" "" "" "" "" "" ""

Which is better Kobe Protro 5 or 6?

and it’s pretty much a matter of preference. if you like having that more low to the ground feel then the kobe 5 wins that by just a little bit but if you like having a little bit more cushion. and impact protection then the whole b6 would be your best bet of the two.Mar 6, 2021
